With Indicator(s) you visually arrange your Dock application icons into sections. 

It's in fact separators for your Dock, and are designed not to be opened and so they quit when accidently clicked on. Yes, they allow neat and efficient arrangements, such as a section of your Dock for applications you use for image editing, researching or developing.

There are also clear icon versions included as a part of Indicator(s). You may find them more appropriate for your Dock experience.

Although designed for use on Mac OS X v10.4, you may still use it on Leopard, Mac OS X v10.5 and below.
